Qualified Product List (QPL)
The Authority’s QPL program provides a dynamic and up‐to‐date list of products to the contracting and engineering community, and it allows manufacturers and suppliers to submit their products through a streamlined, paperless approval system. Specifically:
- The QPL is located on CapEx, viewable by any user.
- The QPL centralizes all products which may potentially be proposed for use on Authority construction projects and organizes them according to their Specification Subsection.
- The QPL contains product names and/or model numbers, vendor contact information, and the product’s corresponding Specification Subsection.
- The Standard Specifications (as amended by the Supplementary Specifications) contains the criteria upon which products are qualified.
*Note that the QPL is not intended for use with Contracts designed under the 2004 Standard Specifications.
