One lane of the eastbound Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike will be closed this weekend from west of Interchange 14B to Christopher Columbus Drive for bridge deck repairs. 

Drivers attempting to exit at the Christopher Columbus Drive off-ramp will be detoured to Marin Boulevard. The ramp to the Liberty Science Center will be not affected.

The lane closure will begin at 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 6th, and continue until 6 p.m. Sunday, April 7th.

Drivers are urged to check traffic conditions before they travel through the area.
