The New Jersey Turnpike Authority will host the second annual New Jersey Transportation Industry Food Drive on Nov. 13, 2021, in the parking lot of its headquarters in Woodbridge.
The Turnpike Authority’s partners in this effort to collect food and raise money for New Jersey food banks include the New Jersey State Police, Troopers United, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, NJ TRANSIT, the South Jersey Transportation Authority, the New Jersey chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association, and the New Jersey Alliance for Action.
Members of the public are also invited to participate by dropping off donations at NJTA headquarters, 1 Turnpike Plaza, Woodbridge, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Nov. 13th. In the event of rain, the drive will be held on Nov. 14th.
Monetary contributions can be made by check payable to the Troopers United Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, at PO Box 1236, Hammonton, NJ 08037. One hundred percent of all contributions will be donated to New Jersey food banks.
