TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Bridge work will necessitate lane closures on Garden State and Oraton parkways

The following traffic alerts will be in place between 5/11/20 and 5/17/20. These closures are in support of bridge related work. Work will be supported by State Police. Please read below for details:

  • Beginning Monday morning, 5/11/20 and continuing through Thursday afternoon, 5/14/20, northbound Garden State Parkway will be reduced to a single travel lane at Milepost 147.1 (Route 280) and the northbound Garden State Parkway entrance ramp from Interchange 145 will be detoured to northbound Oraton Parkway during this period.
  • Beginning Thursday afternoon, 5/14/20, and continuing through Sunday evening, 5/17/20, southbound Garden State Parkway will be reduced to a single travel lane at Milepost 147.1 (Route 280).
  • Beginning Friday evening, 5/15/20 and continuing through Sunday evening, 5/17/20, the southbound exit ramp to Oraton Parkway and to Interchange 145 will be closed and exiting traffic will be detoured to Exit 144.
