Southbound exit at Turnpike Interchange 12 to close for weekend bridge repairs

The ramp from the southbound New Jersey Turnpike to Interchange 12 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, October 4th, until 5 a.m. Monday, October 7th, for bridge deck repairs and resurfacing.

Southbound traffic on the inner and outer roadways will not be able to exit at Interchange 12 during the weekend.

If you are a southbound motorist and want to exit at Interchange 12, you will be directed to continue south to Interchange 11 and follow signs back onto the northbound Turnpike. You will be able to access Interchange 12 from that direction.

This closure will impact only southbound drivers who want to exit at Interchange 12.

Those who will not be affected include:

  • Northbound or southbound drivers passing Interchange 12 on the mainline of the Turnpike;
  • Northbound drivers exiting at Interchange 12;
  • Northbound or southbound drivers who want to enter the Turnpike at Interchange 12.
