Emergency bridge deck repairs have forced the closure of two of three lanes on the northbound New Jersey Turnpike near exit 68 in Ridgefield Park.

A hole opened late this morning the deck of a bridge that carries the Turnpike over a ramp from U.S. Route 46. The right and center lanes have been closed. 

The closure is expected to be in place  through the evening rush hour. Commuters are advised to find alternate routes or to alter their departure times to avoid the area during the evening rush.
