Bridge repairs this weekend will force the closure of the ramp to NJ Route 36 southbound at exit 117 of the Garden State Parkway. 

The ramp will be closed at 10 p.m. tonight and remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday as construction crews make repairs to the bridge that carries the 117 exit ramp over NJ Route 35.

Drivers attempting to access Route 36 southbound will be directed to use a signed detour route that includes Route 35 southbound, Park Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Holmdel Road, and Main Street.

This work was scheduled for last weekend but was postponed to this weekend because of the weather.
