One lane of the westbound Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike will be closed through the evening rush hour while work crews make emergency repairs to a hole in the bridge deck. Commuters are encouraged to find an alternate route this evening.

The pot hole was discovered at about 11:30 this morning in the right lane at milepost 3.8 westbound between interchanges 14B and 14A.
