Hudson County
Description
Eleven deteriorated bridges will be rehabilitated in order to keep them in service until they can be replaced under future projects in the Newark Bay-Hudson County Improvements Program. The structures are located outside the limits of Project 1 of the NB-HCE Improvements Program, between Interchange 14A and the eastern terminus of the Extension at Jersey Avenue. The work entails select deck replacements and steel and concrete repairs.
Schedule
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2028.
