Description
This project will address operational, safety, and congestion concerns along the Garden State Parkway from Interchange 130 to Interchange 131 B in both directions. The improvements include continuous auxiliary lanes with standard 12-foot shoulders, the replacement of two Conrail bridges, the installation of noise barrier, lighting improvements, and pedestrian safety enhancements.
Schedule
This project is in final design. Construction is anticipated to start in 2027 and be complete by 2031.
